Eyvonne Mae Howell 1938-2021 Obituary
Eyvonne Mae Howell, age 83 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Thursday evening, September 30, 2021 at the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV. She had been in declining health.
She was born Saturday, March 5, 1938 at Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Holiday Huff and Daisy Della Kittle Howell. Eyvonne lived with her sister Jean and her husband Benny for many years until their passing and later with her niece, Bonnie Jean Riffe. She had never married. Surviving one nephew, Earnest Todd Howell of Elkins; four nieces, Della D. Phillips and husband Gary, Bonnie Jean Riffe, and Debbie Phillips; one special great niece, Emily Phillips, all of Elkins; and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are four brothers, Alfred, Alvin, William and Earnest Howell; two sisters, Alfreda “Jean” Jones and Viola White; and two nephews, Daniel William Howell, and Roger Ray Jones.
Eyvonne attended the schools of Randolph County, was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved working on crafts and was an avid pet lover. She was a special little lady that everyone loved. Eyvonne will be greatly missed
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Country Club Road, Elkins, WV.
