Gregory Allen Canfield 1965-2021 Obituary
Gregory Allen Canfield, age 55 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV.
He was born Thursday, November 4, 1965 at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Firmen Carl Canfield and Peggy Elizabeth Arbogast Canfield, who survives at Elkins.
Also surviving are one brother, Firmen Michael Canfield and wife Jennifer of Nutter Fort; four nieces, Theresa Canfield, Alexandra Canfield, Jessica Dawn Canfield and Jennifer Lauren Canfield Barker; one nephew, Stephen Michael Canfield; and two great nephews, Jackson Barker and Declan Barker.
Preceding him in death are two brothers, Steven Carl Canfield and Phillip Mark Canfield.
He was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1984, and had been an employee of Hardees in Elkins for thirty seven years. He was a member of the Woodford United Methodist Church in Elkins. He had a great love for horses and dearly loved his dog Mia.
Greg’s wishes for cremation were honored. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
