Linda Marie Pastine Kimble 1954-2021 Obituary
Linda Marie Pastine Kimble, age 67 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Tuesday afternoon, September 7, 2021 at the Davis Medical Center Emergency Department.
She was born Saturday, May 8, 1954 at Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Violet Heater and was raised by Stanley and Edith Shockey Pastine. She was formerly married to Larry Kimble, who survives in Elkins. Surviving are three sons, Timothy Allen Kimble and wife Angela of Belington, Steven Robert Ross of Elkins, Jonathan Jacob Ross of Elkins and their father Richard Jon Ross of Norton; one brother, Jerry Pastine and wife JoAnn of Elkins; and three grandchildren, Caleb and Alayna Kimble, and Mason Arbogast.
Preceding her in death was one brother, George Pastine.
She was a graduate of Coalton High School with the Class of 1972, had worked at various jobs and more recently as a Caretaker at Select In Home Care. She enjoyed going to the thrift store, shopping for the grandchildren, and car rides with her friends. She was a loving mother.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 4 to 7 PM, Friday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11 AM. The Rev. Curlie Ray, Jr., will officiate and interment will follow at the Rowan Memorial Cemetery at Mabie, WV.
