Brian Edward Slaubaugh 1974-2021 Obituary
Brian Edward Slaubaugh, 47, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life, Thursday September 2, 2021, at Davis Medical Center. Although he had been in declining health, death was unexpected.
Brian was born Wednesday, May 8, 1974, in Elkins, a son of Wilma Jean Kerns Conley and stepfather, Mike Conley. On September 12, 2002, in Beverly, he married the former Jessica Dawn Tincher who survives.
Also left to cherish his memory are two children, Alice Jean and Cecil Edward James Slaubaugh, one sister, Rebecca Collins, twelve nieces and nephews, Robert, Jessica, Nakita, Aries, Samantha, David, Jared Mick, Makayla and Justin Collins, Caitlin, Cali, and Caiden Carr, two sisters in law, Jennifer Tincher, Jammie Tincher and companion Correy Carr, and parents in law, Jimmy and Laura Tincher.
Preceding him in death were maternal grandparents, Manard and Verona Kerns, and paternal grandparents, Cecil and Ada Slaubaugh.
Brian was an Elkins High School graduate and then served his country in the United States Navy. He loved the outdoors and going mudding in anything that would move. He enjoyed cooking for his family and telling stories. He will be greatly missed and will be lovingly remembered as a great son, husband, father, son in law, brother in law, and a friend to many.
Brian’s request for cremation was honored.
