Lucy P. Allen 1929-2003 Obituary
Lucy P. Allen, 74, of East Lincoln Street, Buckhannon, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.
She was born Nov. 23, 1929, at Napier, the daughter of the late Lewis and Sylvia Cutright Allen.
She is survived by one daughter, Elma L. Robinson of Lightburn; three sons, Jessie Gregory of Route 2, French Creek, Lenny Gregory of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Timothy Gregory of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, George Allen of Ohio, Dana Allen of Buckhannon and Jim Allen of French Creek; one sister, Evelyn Stairs of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Mac Allen; and one sister, Elsie Posey.
Friends will be received at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel Inc. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Robert Heavner officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at Weston. Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
