Kristin S. Anderson 1969-2003 Obituary
Kristin Sue Simmons Anderson, 34, of Hacker Valley, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was the daughter of Ronald Keith Simmons and the late Karen Sue Sponagule Simmons. She was born April 6, 1969, in Elkins.
She graduated from WVU with a BA degree and obtained her nursing degree from Fairmont State College. She was a registered nurse at Webster County Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon and Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Weston.
She was a loving wife and mother, who took pride in all of her families accomplishments.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Mary Bonner Simmons and George and Elma Raines Sponagule.
Surviving are her husband, Jhan Anderson of Hacker Valley; sons, Shane Cameron and Shawn Tyler Anderson of Hacker Valley; father, Keith and stepmother, Joyce Simmons of Morgantown; brothers, Greg Simmons of Pittsburgh, Pa., Jeff (Allison) Simmons of Raleigh, N.C., and Jay (Heather) Simmons of Grafton; nieces, Madison and Ellie; nephew, Hunter; and puppy “Anna.”
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs. Burial will be in the Hacker Valley Cemetery at Hacker Valley. Friends may call Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
