Charles Robert “Bob” Malcomb 1965-2021 Obituary
Charles Robert “Bob” Malcomb, 59, a resident of Helvetia, passed from this life Monday, August 30, 2021, at home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Bob was born Monday, April 30, 1962, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Luther Malcomb and Mary Louise Smith.
Left to cherish his memory are two brothers, William “Bill” Malcomb and wife Kelly of Helvetia, and Tim Malcomb and wife Tara of South Charleston, one niece, Elliet Malcomb, three nephews, Ethan, Luke, and Trey Malcomb, and one great-nephew, Owen Malcomb.
Bob was a graduate of Pickens High School. He was a graduate of Fairmont State University and obtained degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Management. He had been employed as a land surveyor for his brother Bill’s company, A-tech Land Surveying. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his four wheeler. He adored his niece and nephews and treated them as if they were his own.
The family’s request for cremation was honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
