Linda Annie Bennett Carr 1950-2021 Obituary
Linda Annie Bennett Carr, 70, a resident of Montrose, passed from this life, Sunday June 27, 2021, at Cortland Acres in Thomas. She had been in declining health.
She was born Friday July 21, 1950, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Frank Bennett and Frances Hedrick Bennett. She graduated from North Carroll High School in Hampstead Maryland, with the class of 1968 and was married to Donald L Carr, who preceded her in death on September 3, 2012.
Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Lisa Owens, two granddaughters, Lauren and Kaylynn Owens, all of Montrose, 5 siblings, James Bennett and wife Valinda of Bartow, Frank Bennett and wife Terry of Mill Creek, Kim Rugemer and husband Kevin of Elkins, Donna Nicely and husband Don of Durbin, and Sheila Rexrode of Durbin.
Linda enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing, quilting and baking. She had worked for Dr. Farukh Khan and Tygart Valley Orthopedic.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday July 16, 2021 at 4 PM at the Believers Fellowship Church in Montrose. The Pastor Kevin Henry will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Linda Carr to Cortland Acres Activities Department at: 39 Cortland Acres Lane, Thomas WV 26292.
