Steven Lynn Vest 1956-2021 Obituary
Mr. Steven Lynn Vest, age 65, a resident of Elkins and formerly of Belington, departed this life Thursday August 19, 2021 in the Davis Medical Center at Elkins WV. Death was following an extended illness.
He was born July 18, 1956 at Randolph County, WV, a son of the late Jacob Orville and Eugene Gibson Vest.
He is survived by three brothers; Johnny Vest and Jimmy Vest and wife Freda all of Belington, Earl Vest and wife Wanda of Elkins, half-brother; Paul Thorne of Florida, half-sister; Misty Thorne of Philippi, two grandchildren; Caitlyn V. Everson and fiancé Allan Teter of Circleville and Ricky Joe Everson of Philippi. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Aimee Lynn Vest and one brother; Kenny Vest.
Steven attended the Schools of Barbour County, was previously employed at Dingess Lumber Company, and loved to work on automobiles in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 56 N Brandenburg Street in Belington on Sunday August 22, 2021from 6:00-8:00 pm. Steven’s request for cremation will be honored and interment of his cremains will be in the Trinity Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com.
