Tamara “Tammy” Sue Hill Stalnaker Lambert 1944-2021 Obituary
Tamara “Tammy” Sue Hill Stalnaker Lambert, 77, a resident of East Dailey, passed from this life Saturday, December 12, 2021, at home.
Tammy was born Wednesday, March 22, 1944, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Willard Hill and Edna Frances Nutter Hill.
She was married twice, first, for twenty-nine years to James Harold Stalnaker, the father of her children, and then for fifteen years to Robert Lambert. Both preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are five children, Steven Stalnaker, Cheryl “Sissy” Schroeder and husband Tim, Michael Stalnaker and wife Isabel, Robert Stalnaker and wife Angela, and Tawnya Gum and husband Scottie, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husbands were four brothers, Bill, Ronnie, Jimmy, and Ricky Hill.
Tammy attended the schools of Randolph County and proudly obtained her GED when she was in her fifties.
She enjoyed watching wrestling and was an avid reader.
The number one holiday enjoyed was Christmas. She went all out with her decorations and incorporated her favorite color purple into her scheme by having a purple Christmas tree.
For the past eighteen months, Tammy loved spending time with her youngest great-grandson Mason.
Tammy’s request for cremation was honored and a private Celebration of Life will be held.
