Sheila Denise Rhodes 1966-2021 Obituary
Sheila Denise Rhodes, age 55, of Worthington, WV, died Thursday December 9, 2021, at the United Hospital Center, in Bridgeport, WV. She was born April 22, 1966, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of Paul Gifford and Josephine Linger both of Buckhannon. On April 11, 2004, she married Danny Rhodes of Worthington, who survives. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her stepfather Ronald Linger of Buckhannon; two sisters, Tammy Seelback and husband Brad of Buckhannon, Karen Tenney and fiancé David Myers of Aurora, WV; three brothers, Tim Gifford and partner Marilyn Westfall of Mill Creek, WV, Randy Gifford and Russ Gifford and wife Kim all of Buckhannon; two step-brothers, Barry Linger and wife Vaneesa of Texas, and Jamey Linger and wife Jackie of Weston, WV; three children, Danielle Stillwell and fiancé Rob Saffel of Tennessee, Rick Stillwell and wife Christina of Mabie, WV, Joshua Stillwell and wife Kadi of Flemington, WV; three stepsons, Danny, Logan, and Kevin; two granddaughters, Jayden Stillwell of Pennsylvania, Emma Stillwell of Flemington, one grandson Collin Stillwell of Flemington; two nieces, Stephanie and Brooke Seelback of Buckhannon; seven nephews, Eli and Preston Seelback, Cody Wolfe and wife Shannon of Morgantown, WV, Dillon Wolfe and partner Angela of Buckhannon, Adam Wratchford and wife Shanna and Chad Gifford and William Michaels. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, several uncles, and a beloved aunt. Sheila was a member of the Owens Baptist Church and loved reading and studying her Bible. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting, shopping, camping, Christmas, woodworking, spending time with family and loved her dog Molly. Friends will be received Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 11AM to 1PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 1PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Elbon Cemetery in Sago, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
