RCA Model RT2760 Surround Sound Receiver User Manual – RCA Snapwhole
I went to the local Goodwill on 99 cents day, anything with a yellow or green label was 99 Cents
I found this RCA RT 2760 Surround Sound Receiver tagged for $35, and it had a Yellow Sticker, so I got it for 99 cents, and it included the remote – which is good, cause the remote required for it work, not many controls on the front panel
When I got it home to check it out, it had a strange bearing sound in it, and when I opened up the box, I found it was the cooler fan for the amplifier chip, I replaced the fan and no more noise
I had a replacement fan for one of my 3D printers that fit, so it was a quick repair
I tested the AM/FM receiver and it worked fine, so now, what about speakers?
The RCA RT2760 uses 4 OHM speakers, I already had a subwoofer and 4 speakers I had picked up at Goodwill on a previous dollar day for a dollar each, I used those 4 speaker for the front and rear left and right, so all I need is a front center speaker and I’ve got a complete system
I have $5 invested in the surround sound system so far, and hoping to find another speaker for a dollar
Not bad for a surround sound system, It might be the last generation model, and its not wireless but it works great
