Beatrice Eliza Chenoweth Kirkpatrick 1912-2007 Obituary
BEATRICE ELIZA CHENOWETH KIRKPATRICK, age 95 years, a former resident of Lavalette Avenue, Elkins and more recently, a resident of Elkins Regional Convalescent Center, departed this life early Sunday morning, August 5, 2007 at the nursing home.
She was born Thursday, February 29, 1912 at Georgetown, Randolph County, WV a daughter of the late Homer Chenoweth and Eliza Pingley Chenoweth.
On February 3, 1933, at Elkins, WV, she was married to Luther Coy Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death September 26, 1991.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary L. Isner, Elkins, with whom Mrs. Kirkpatrick had made her home for the past six years; Anna Mae Poe and husband Dano, Moatsville; two sons, Coy Kirkpatrick, Jr. and wife Pat, Uvalde, TX; John L. Kirkpatrick and wife Brenda, Elkins; five grandchildren, Wilford C. Isner, Jr.; Brian, Eric, Christy and Craig Kirkpatrick and ten great grandchildren, Curt and Bret Isner; Brooke, Taylor, Brittany, Ashley and Payton Kirkpatrick; Lindsey and Bethany Uhl; and Brianna Rohbaugh.
Beatrice was preceded in death by one infant daughter; three brothers, Ishmael, Thaddeus and Clarence Chenoweth; and one granddaughter, Misty Dawn McCoy.
She attended the schools of Randolph County, sold Avon in the Elkins area for thirty-five years and made many lasting friends.
She was dedicated to taking the very best care of her children.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 6 to 9 PM, Tuesday.
Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor, Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 2 PM.
The Reverend Will Isner will officiate and interment will follow at the Elkins Memorial Gardens at Elkins, WV.
