Beulah Marie Youtzy Carr 1938-2018 Obituary
Beulah Marie Youtzy Carr, age 80 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Friday, June 15, 2018 at the WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV.
She had been in declining health.
She was born Friday, February 18, 1938 at Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Paul Theodore Youtzy and Margaret Alice Jones Youtzy Summerfield.
She was previously married to Keith Lewis Carr, who survives at Ellenboro, WV.
Surviving are two sons, Rick Keith Carr and wife Becky of Elkins, Doyle L. Carr and wife Sarah of Ronceverte; three daughters, Sheila Yvonna Armentrout and companion Tom Gooden of Fairmont, Margie Marie Wamsley and husband Vernon of Elkins, Janie Newlon and husband Chad of Kerens; three sisters, Pearl “Bobby” Ruth Gooden of Good Hope, WV, Thelma Elizabeth Bennett of Harrisonburg, VA, Geraldine Gladwell of Hopewell, VA; eight grandchildren, Darryl, Bobbie Jo, Shasta, Dusty, Zack, Lexi, Beau, and Hali; and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are one brother, Donald Lee Youtzy; and five sisters, Madeline Youtzy, Mary Nair, Dorothy Riffle, Jacqueline Summerfield and Bertha Belle White; and one special sister, Virgie Satterfield. S
he attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Harman High School with the Class of 1957.
She had worked as a cook at the former White Front Restaurant for many years, was a member of the Beverly United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles and was an avid card player.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2018.
Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1 PM.
The Rev. Bryan Headley will officiate and interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery at Elkins, WV
