Audra M. Tenney 1918-2008 Obituary
Audra M. Tenney, age 89, of Middlefield, Ohio, left this earth on Friday, August 1, 2008.
She died at Briar Hill Health Care Residence where she was receiving Hospice care.
Born Aug. 4, 1918, in Hemlock, W.Va., she was the daughter of William Harmon and Ida Mae (Currence) Scott.
Audra was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, cooking and quilt making.
She especially enjoyed Gospel music and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Tenney had lived in Middlefield since 1967 and attended the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield.
She is survived by her children, Floyd “Sonny” (Betty) of Atlanta, Ga., Forest “Duck” (Neva) of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Champ (Vicki) of Anchorage, Alaska, Lloyd “Delmar” of Gates Mills, Ohio, Roger (Heilda) of Houston, Tex., Jerry (Belinda) of Burton, Ohio, Wilda Demoss of Middlefield, Ohio, Cora “Jeanie” (Glen) Balog of Orwell and Nancy Copus of Findlay, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow (Lou) Scott of Millcreek, W.Va. and Ruis Lanham of Adolph, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wilma Shipman who lost her battle with cancer in 2007; three infant daughters; and eight siblings.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday Aug. 6, at the RUSSELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 15670 West High St. (Rt. 87), Middlefield, Ohio, with Pastor D. Ray Mullet of Burton officiating.
Burial to be in Middlefield Cemetery.Visitation is Tuesday, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
