Arlton Gendale Scotty Adams 1917-2003 Obituary
Arlton Glendale “Scotty” Adams, 86, of Elkins, and formerly of Trubie Run, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at Nella’s Inc.
He was born June 28, 1917, in Tallmansville, a son of the late Dee and Bessie Adams.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Ray Adams and Robert Adams; a daughter, Patty Adams; two brothers, John Adams of Pennsylvania and Charles David Adams of Ohio; and a sister, Launa Reeder of Buckhannon.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Garlton, Dennis and Gale; and a sister, Cosby Hollinger.
He retired from the B&R Railroad.
He served in World War II as a medical technician and had served on the Silver Hair Legislature.
Private services were held Tuesday with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
