Mildred Catherine Kuykendall Westfall 1923-2003 Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Catherine (Kuykendall) Westfall, 79, of Petersburg, died Monday, March 31, at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins.
Born July 11, 1923, in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Loss Kuykendall and Annie (Hall) Kuykendall.
She was twice married and preceded in death by both husbands, David Reel Sr. and Harold Westfall.
She is survived by three sons, David R. Reel, John R. Reel and Mikie A. Westfall, all of Petersburg; two daughters, Wilma George of Petersburg and Polly Uphold of Dorcas; three sisters, Ruth Alt of Essex, Md., Blanche Plaugher of Petersburg and Patty Webb of Old Fields; four brothers, Frederick Kuykendall, Wayne Kuykendall, Donnie Kuykendall and Melvin Kuykendall, all of Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were April 3, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, with interment in the Newhouse Cemetery

Friends will be received at Schaeffer Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph D. Eversole. Interment will follow in Newhouse Cemetery at Rig.
