Edna Geneva Wilson 1915-2003 Obituary
Edna Geneva Wilson, 87, a resident of the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center, formerly of Johnson Avenue, Belington, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in the Good Samaritan Center after an extended illness.
She was born June 18, 1915, at Junior, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Georgia Cross.
Her husband, Coontz Wilson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Williamson, and Mogadore, Ohio, Douglas Williamson, Parkersburg; two sisters, Minnie Mae and Gertrude, both in Oregon; three grandchildren, T.G. Williamson, Robin Williamson and Traci Walbrown; three great-grandchildren, Jason Walbrown, Kendall Walbrown and Krystyna Williamson.
She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and was remembered for her cooking and baking.
Friends may call at the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday, when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
The Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
