John Allen Wright 1964-2003 Obituary
John Allen Wright of Hanahan, S.C., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, April 29, 2003.
Mr. Wright was born April 11, 1964, in Baltimore, Md.
He was the husband of Cyndy Backal Wright, who survives in Hanahan, S.C.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Linda Ervin Davis and Rick Davis of Elkins; his father, John Wright; one son, Collin Davis Wright of Summersville, S.C.; and one brother, Ron Wright of Elkins.
Mr. Wright was a member of Harvest Baptist Church where he coached the junior varsity team in basketball.
Mr. Wright received his bachelor of arts degree in education from Southern Illinois University. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force with 10 years of active duty service as a staff sergeant and currently served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Mr. Wright was an installation technician with L&S Electronics and a sales representative for Gene Reed Toyota.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Greenridge Road Chapel in N. Charleston, S.C., where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment with military honors will follow at 2 p.m. in the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Collin D. Wright Educational Fund, in care of Harvest Baptist Church, 8310 Dorchester Road, Charleston, S.C. 29418.
