Carol Jean Young 1943-2003 Obituary
Carol Jean Young, 59, of Brighton Township, died Friday afternoon, June 27, 2003, at The Medical Center, Beaver, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Dec. 30, 1943, in Rock Cave, she is the daughter of Helen Rosalie Wimer Alderman of French Creek and the late Willard Kemp Alderman.
Mrs Young had been a resident of Brighton Township for the past 29 years.
Surviving besides her mother is her husband of 41 years, John Allen Young Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Allen Jr. and Beth Young, Greene Township, and Ronald and Dee Young, Johnstown, Pa.; two daughters, Kimberly Tarzia, Greene Township, and Alecia Young, Brighton Township; five brothers, James, Charles, Larry and Lenny Alderman, all of French Creek, and Roger Alderman, Middleburg, Va.; three sisters, Charolet Young, Paynesville, Ohio, and Joyce Thompson, Ohioville, Karen Robinson, French Creek; and eight grandchildren, Kristen and Sara Young, Caitlin, Brittany, Ashley and Matthew Young, Stephanie Young and Kylie Tarzia.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Naomi Sutton, and an infant brother, Bobby Alderman.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third St., Beaver. Additional visitation will take place Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, Buckhannon. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Rock Cave Baptist Church with the Rev. David Jesse officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Ridge Methodist Cemetery.
