Thelma Lee Elmore Wimer 1911-2003 Obituary
Thelma Lee Elmore Wimer, 91, of West Farmington, Ohio, and formerly of Elkins, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at 12:17 p.m. in the Community Skilled Nursing Centre in Warren, Ohio.
She was born July 20, 1911, at Glady, a daughter of Dennis Thompson and Leoma Rhodes.
She was twice married. First, she married Harvey Elmore, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1967. Second, she married Russell Wimer, who preceded her in death in October 1985.
Surviving are one son, Eugene W. Elmore, West Farmington, Ohio; one daughter, Leoma June Rosenberger, Warren, Ohio; one brother, Alma Crawford, Coalton; one sister, Alma Crawford, Coalton; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and one sister.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and cooking.
Friends were received at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren, Ohio, today from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the funeral hour. Interment followed in Champion Township Cemetery, Champion, Ohio.
