Marguerite Clare Zizunas 1920-2003 Obituary
Marguerite Clare Zizunas, 83, of Davis, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas.
She was born April 6, 1920, in Davis, a daughter of the late John Joseph Lawrence Sr. and Nellie Kolaski Lawrence.
On April 30, 1941, she married George P. Zizunas, who preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Zizunas of Davis, and Dianne Baker of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and one brother, John Lawrence Jr. of Davis.
Three brothers, Stanley, Bill and Joe; and four sisters, Hallye Lawrence, Anna Lawrence, Katherine Palmer and Mary Govedich, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Zizunas was employed by Union Savings and Trust Bank in Warren, Ohio, for 25 years. She was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father John Agipito as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
