Mildred Williams 1936-2003 Obituary
Mildred Williams, 67, of Kenner, La., passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at the Life Care Hospital in Kenner.
She was born July 15, 1936, in Holden, the daughter of the late Jasper and Anna Mae Chafin Browning.
She is survived by her husband, Wilson Williams; two sons, John Williams of Marietta, Ga., and Tom Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Lisa Mayo, Dalton, Ga., and Rebecca Osborne, Peachtree City, Ga.; three brothers, John, Jim and Aaron Browning, all of Chapmanville; two sisters, Violet Mick, Grafton, and Ruth Anderson, Chapmanville; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Williams retired from the school system where she worked in the cafeteria.
Friends were received at the Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and today from 10 a.m. to noon, the funeral hour. A graveside service, with the Rev. Allen Schwarz officiating, followed at Parsons City Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
