Henry Tryver White 1930-2003 Obituary
Henry Tryver White, 73, a resident of Weese Street, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Friday, Oct., 31 2003, at the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center in Belington.
He was born Aug. 26, 1930, at Flint, the son of the late Willis and Sallie Ann White.
He was twice married. His first wife, Ruth Beatrice Arbogast White, preceded him in death. On May 20, 1974, at Oakland, Md., he was married to Charlene Jeter, who survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Annette White of Elkins; one stepson; three stepdaughters; four stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Willis and Harlan Leon White; one sister, Trellis Joan White; and one half sister, Bergetta D. White Davis.
Mr. White was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed at Labcraft at Beverly.
Friends will be received Tuesday at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour. Pastor Philip Lynn Ryder will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Henry Tryver White.
