Alice Lew Woonn Wisner 1923-2003 Obituary
Alice Lew Wonn Wisner, 80, a resident of Elkins, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 17, 2003.
She was born Feb. 3, 1923 in Elkins, the daughter of the late Roy E. Wonn and Aileen Keim Wonn. On May 14, 1949, in Elkins, she was married to John Elwood Wisner, who preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1991.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah W. and son-in-law, Bruce Kenneth Bunger, of Louisville, Ky.; and one sister-in-law, Norma L. Wisner of Elkins.
Preceding her in death was one brother, William R. Wonn.
She was a graduate of Elkins High School and attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, Va. She was a member of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, and was a former volunteer for the Davis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins. The Rev. Jeff Falter and the Rev. Fred Valentine will officiate. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends and family at Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church on Randolph Avenue.
