Kenneth K Young, 82, of Cabins, died Friday, Dec 5, 2003 in City Hospital Martinsburg.
Born Jul 28, 1921 in Kimberly, WV, he was the son of the late William M Young and Evelyn (Stanley) Young.
Mr Young was retired from Elkem Metals, Alloy, WV and was a member of Potomac Valley Baptist Church in Maysville. He was also a veteran of the US Army, serving during WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Lila (Moore) Young; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sandra Young of Petersburg WV and David and Nancy Young of Defiance, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and John Slough of Martinsburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Debra Otey, Benjamin Young, Tara Summers, Elizabeth Slough, John David Slough, Chelsy Young and John David Young; two great-grandsons, Carter Otey and Caeden Otey.
Visitation was Monday Dec. 8, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg.
Interment will be in the Lahmansville Cemetery.
Military graveside service by Combined Veteran Organizations of Grant County and JROTC.
