Mary Gladys Toots White 1914-2003 Obituary
Mary Gladys “Toots” White, 89, of Thomas, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003.
She was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Petersburg, the daughter of W.R. and Maudie Baker Luzier.
On Aug. 10, 1935, she married her husband of 68 years, Robert E. White of Thomas.
She is also survived by one brother, Arthur Zepp Luzier of Apache Junction, Ariz.; two godchildren, Tammy Hebb and Danny Pase; special grandchildren Toby and Tyler Hebb; nieces and nephews; and special neighbors Dan “Boone” and Carol Pase.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Ford, George, Lloyd, Hunt, Dave, Junior and Occran Glen Luzier; and one sister, Pearl “Pal” Luzier Hauser.
Mrs. White was a housewife and a member of Thomas United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and on Friday at Thomas United Methodist Church from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Shelba Sisler and the Rev. Jeff Winter will officiate and interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
