Helen M. Back 1929-2003 Obituary
Helen Mae Miller Back, 74, a resident of the Dartmoor community near Belington, departed this life at 4 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown. She had been in declining health for quite some time.
She was born May 17, 1929, at Phoenixville, Pa., the daughter of the Albert Joseph and Grace Thomas Miller.
On June 28, 1954, at Phoenixville, Pa., she was united in marriage to Matthew Back, who survives at their home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert M. Back of Dartmoor, and Matthew Back and wife, Barbara of Coatesville, Pa.; one daughter, Patricia Arlene Delnero and husband, James, of Phoenixville, Pa.; one sister, Anita Miller, and one brother, Robert Miller, both of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Weaver; one sister, Betty Dean; and one infant brother.
Mrs. Back attended the schools of Phoenixville, Pa. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Brethren in Junior.
Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home parlor with the Rev. Terry Gower officiating. Interment will follow in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Junior. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Helen Mae Miller Back.
