Mary F. Baker 1912-2003 Obituary
Mary Frances Baker, 91, a resident of Buckhannon and formerly of Moundsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in the Holbrook Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
She was born Oct. 13, 1912, in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Dale R. and Bertha Risinger Chaddock.
She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Blackwell and husband, Pat, of Buckhannon; a granddaughter, Amanda Chapman and husband, David, of Dublin, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Smith and Tom Chaddock; one sister, Phyllis Jane Yost, and an infant son and daughter.
She was an elementary teacher in Marshall County where she taught for more than 30 years, was an active member of Simpson United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College.
The family will receive friends at the Grisell Funeral Home, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Dr. William E. Calhoun will officiate.
