Ernest R. Ballard 1918-2003 Obituary
Ernest Ronald Ballard, 85, of Longwood, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2003, at Florida Hospital Altamonte in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
He was born July 19, 1918, in Hightower, Ala, the son of the late John Ballard and Maude Weir Ballard.
His wife, Ullainee Lois Ballard, preceded him in death on April 10, 2001.
Surviving are one son, Ronald Ballard, Apopka, Fla.; three grandsons, Ronald J. Ballard of California, Christopher Ballard of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Jonathan Ballard of Jacksonville, Fla.; two granddaughters, Hallie Ballard of Longwood, Fla., and Sarah Ballard of Winter Park, Fla.; and one great-granddaughter, Josephine Ballard of California.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Pastor Rick Cutright will officiate. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
