Laverna Barrickman -2003 Obituary
Laverna G. Barrickman, 67, a native of Dailey, and for the past 37 years a resident of Barberton, Ohio, departed this life Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003.
She was born at Dailey.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Carroll Barrickman; two daughters, Dora Winkler and husband, John, Norton, Ohio, and Kelly McGinnis and husband, Keith, Doylestown, Ohio; one brother, Benjamin Jones and wife, Jean, Elkins; one stepbrother, Howard Price and wife, Barb, Tennessee; one stepsister, Mildred Spencer, Barberton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Adam, Abby and Alan Winkler and Brandon McGinnis; and many other loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Adrienna.
Friends were received at Hahn-Hostetler-Silva Funeral Home. Final rites were conducted at the funeral home Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Cuckler officiating. Interment followed at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, Ohio.
