Ruth M. Baughman 1922-2003 Obituary
Ruth M. Baughman, 80, a resident of Route 4, Meadow Heights, Philippi, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Sept., 13, 1922, in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Everett and Eva (Duckworth) Murphy.
She was united in marriage on April 25, 1942, to Neason M. Baughman, who preceded her in death on May 6, 1993.
Surviving are one son, Gary Keith Baughman, Globe, Ariz.; one sister, Mary L. Frey, Philippi; two brothers, Tommy Murphy, Volga, and Dale Murphy, Grafton; three grandchildren, Troy, Todd and Erih Baughman; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Murphy; and one sister, Edith Watkins.
She worked for 27 years at Austin Chemical Co., Myers, Pa. She was a Protestant by faith.
Friends were received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, Tuesday and until 2 p.m. today, the funeral hour, with the Rev. Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
