John Belinc 1915-2003 Obituary
John “Hans” Belinc, 88, of Davis, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home where he had resided for the past year.
He was born May 2, 1915, in Coketon, the son of the late George and Johanna Loscar Belinc.
He is survived by two daughters, Joan Lorik and husband, Steve, of Bradenton, Fla., and Sandra DiMontova, Old Bridge, N.J.; one stepdaughter, Betty Davis and husband, Jim, of Texas; two sisters, Mary Grybel of Michigan and Joan Miles and husband, Raymond, of Dennisport, Mass.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, George, Frank, Joe, Martin, Ernest and Ludwig Belinc; and two sisters, Teresa and Helen.
Mr. Belinc was a retired truck driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Hinkle Funeral Home. A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hinkle Funeral Chapel with Fr. Lino Ebejer officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. From 30 Oct 2003.
