Theodore L. Berg 1931-2003 Obituary
Theodore Lee Berg, 72, a resident of Valley Bend, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday in Davis Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1931, at DeSmet, S.D., the son of the late Louis and Ida Pensinger Berg.
On June 1, 1963, he was married to the former Geneva Hogan, who survives at Valley Bend.
Also surviving are one son, Stephen Berg and wife, Linda, of Pliny. Three grandchildren, Nicole, Tiffany and Adam, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Louis Berg Jr
Mr. Berg was a 1951 graduate of Rockford High School in Rockford, Ill. He was a machinist for 40 years until his retirement in 2001, when he moved to Valley Bend.
Mr. Berg enjoyed hunting and photography and was a Protestant by faith.
Friends may call from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Hogan officiating. Interment will follow in the Hevener Cemetery near Monterville. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Theodore Lee Berg.
