Leah B. Beverage 1925-2003 Obituary
Leah Belle Beverage, 78, of Buckhannon, died Friday, July 11, 2003, in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born April 28, 1925, in Hemlock, a daughter of the late Ira and Rebecca Leigh Light.
Surviving are her husband, Carl Beverage of Buckhannon; and three sisters, Myrtle Cutright and Bernice Anderson, both of Buckhannon, and Frances Tomblyn of Tallmansville Road, Buckhannon.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Temple in Jane Lew.
She enjoyed life and her friends here on earth and now resides in Heaven.
Friends will be received at Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Grace Baptist Temple in Jane Lew at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Interment will follow Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hemlock. Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of the arrangements for Leah Belle Beverage.
