Roger N. Black 1947-2003 Obituary
Roger N. Black, 55, a resident of Duboise, Pa., died Friday, March 14, 2003, at Duboise.
He was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Buckhannon, the son of Leo Black of Clarksburg and the late Ethlen Casto Black.
Surviving are two sisters, Sylvia Snyder and husband, James, of Stonewood, and Vivian Charlene Read and husband, Charles, of Woodland, Pa.; one brother, Gary A. Black and wife, Adrianna, West Des Moines, Iowa; and two aunts, Kathleen Reed and Armillis Reese, both of Buckhannon; seven nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Black was a Methodist by faith and had worked at the Harrison County Sheltered Workshop
Friends will be received at the Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where services will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Chris Duckworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Bend Cemetery. The Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of the arrangements for Roger N. Black.
