Maude Bolton 1912-2003 Obituary
Maude Bolton, 90, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2003, in Lynchburg Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Bolton was a resident of Lynchburg for the past 10 years and was a former resident of Route 2, Belington.
Mrs. Bolton was born Sept. 29, 1912, a daughter of the late Hiram and Eva (Harvey) Crites.
Her husband, Hartsel Bolton, preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Margaret Bolton of Altavista, Va.; one granddaughter, Janet Kearns of Baltimore, Md.; and one grandson, Dr. Kenneth Hugh Bolton Jr., Baton Rouge, La.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Bolton was a homemaker and attended the Little Bethel Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Wednesday and until 2 p.m. Thursday, the funeral hour, with the Rev. Dr. Darl Docterman officiating. Interment will follow in Barbour Memorial Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home in Philippi is in charge of the arrangements. .
