Ethel F. Brake 1912-2003 Obituary
Ethel F. Brake, 90, of Route 6, Box 308, Buckhannon, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at 3:10 p.m. in Valley Care Personal Care Home in Buckhannon.
She was born June 22, 1912, in Upshur County, the daughter of the late Charles Lemuel and Georgia Orma Brake.
Surviving is a nephew, Loran D. Brake, Wilmington, Del.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford O. Brake and Carl Brake; and a sister, Beulah Koon.
She was a seamstress for Reidbord Brothers and a member of the AARP. She attended Hampton United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home today from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Hampton Church Cemetery in Hampton.
