Eldora Marie Tenny Simons Brown, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002.
She was born on July 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Hoy Tenny and Lula Osterishk Tenny.
She was married to Gerald Karl Simons and John Daytona Brown, both preceded her in death.
Surviving are two brothers, Eddie Light and Denver Tenney Weston; two sisters, Juanita Bare and Pauline Dunn; four sons, Donald Lee Simons, Alexandria, Va., Michael Gerald Simons, Weston, Neil E. Simons and Khevan W. Simons of Alexandria, Va.; three grandsons, Michael David Simons, Donald Scott Simons and Jason Michael Simons; and one great-grandson, Michael David Simons Jr.
Funeral services were held at Weaver Funeral Home Chapel in Bristol, Tenn., with the Rev. Paul Brown from Bristol, Tenn., officiating.
She was laid to rest in Shepley Cemetery in Bristol, Tenn. From 9 Jan 2003.
