Lorraine M. Carr 1929-2003 Obituary
Lorraine Murriel Carr, 73, of Washington, D.C., passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 25, 1929, in Thomas, a daughter of the late Delbert Howell Carr and Louiessa Carr.
She is survived by a brother, Shirley W. Carr, Virginia Beach, Va.; and a sister, Rose Marie Carr, Oakland, Md.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanaleah Seibel.
Ms. Carr graduated with the Thomas High School Class of 1947 and graduated from the Secretarial School of Cumberland, Md.
She worked in the personnel department for the Department of Energy.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be at Hinkle Funeral Chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Winter officiating.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Thomas. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
