Nell G. Coleman 1907-2003 Obituary
Nell G. Coleman, 96, of Bounds Circle, Westover, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1907, in Elk Garden, a daughter of the late Christopher and Rebecca Susan Wick Yeager.
She was a food manager at G.C. Murphy’s on High Street and attended the First Christian Church.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 51 of Morgantown and the Pythian Sisters.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Chris and Donna Jo Coleman of Belington, and Charles and Linda Coleman of Belington; one sister, Josephine Yeager of Westover; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Coleman; two sons, John Coleman and one infant son; three sisters, Bessie Davis, Mary Yeager and Eva Yeager; five brothers, George W. Yeager, Marshall Lee Yeager, John Yeager, David Yeager and Robert Yeager.
Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rick Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church, 100 Cobun Ave., Morgantown, W.Va. 26505 or the Rebekah’s Lodge, 265 High St., Morgantown, W.Va. 26505.
