Anna Mae Collins 1924-2003 Obituary
Anna Mae Collins, 78, of Durbin, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas.
Mrs. Collins was born Dec. 10, 1924, at Durbin, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Westfall Ash.
She attended the Durbin Church of the Brethren, was a clerk at the Durbin Mercantile and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3453.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Collins; three sisters, Thelma Williams, Myrtle Palmer and Sylvia Kincaid; and two brothers, Paul and Albert “June” Ash.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda K. Findley and Millie Arbogast, both of Durbin; one son, Leonard D. Collins of Poulsbo, Wash.; three grandchildren, Debbie Channell, Beth Arbogast and Matthew Collins; and one great-grandson, Matthew Collins II.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be in the Arbovale Cemetery. Wallace & Wallace Funeral home in Arbovale is in charge of arrangements
