Korah Ruth Vanscoy Sell 1926-2000 Obituary
Korah Ruth Vanscoy Sell, 96, a former resident of Kerens, and since 1981, a resident of 605 Kentucky Ave., Nutter Fort, died Tuesday morning, Jan 11, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Sell was born Oct. 8, 1903, at Kerens, a daughter of the late Louis W. and Delphia Triplett Vanscoy.
On October 30, 1926, at Fairmont, she married Alvin L. Sell, who preceded her in death on November 16, 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Winifred Sell Tacy, Nutter Fort; a granddaughter, Mrs. Stephen Cronin, Jane Lew; two great-granddaughters, Jeniffer Danielle and Stephanie Nicole Cronin, both of Jane Lew; a great-grandson, Michael Joseph Cronin, Jane Lew; and several nieces and nephews including Ruth Daft Poling, Elkins.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by four brothers, Harvey B., Cecil C. Howard and Frank Vanscoy; and a sister Mittie V. Daft.
Interment will be at Israel Cemetery at Kerens.
