Connie E. Jolly 1910-2001 Obituary
Connie E. Jolly, 91, of Stafford, Va., died on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, in a Maryland hospital of congestive heart failure.
Mrs. Jolly was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Webster Springs, a daughter of the late Hanson and Daisy Hamrick.
She was thrice married. First, she married Patrick Harris, who preceded her in death. Second, she married Caleb Hughes, who preceded her in death. Third, she married David Jolly, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Harry Hanson Harris Sr., Myersville, Md., and George Arthur Hughes, Pennsylvania; a sister, Dora Ward Canterbury, Belington; a brother, Arlie Arnold Hamrick, Valley Head; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Arlie Arnold Harris, Caleb Charles Hughes and Ray Edward Hughes; a sister, Mattie Delana Turner; and a brother, Hardy Von Hamrick.
Mrs. Jolly was a waitress and hostess until her retirement. She was a Methodist by faith.
Funeral services were held in Hyattsville, Md., Dec. 22. Interment followed in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md.
