Dickson Judy 1914-2001 Obituary
Dickson W. Judy, 87, of Seth, died Sunday, Nov. 11, at CAMC General Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born May 1, 1914 in parsons, a son of the late Isom and Gertrude Judy of Parsons.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Judy, of Seth; two daughters, Barbara Storms, Corbin, KY and Kay Close, Williamsburg, KY; five sons, Robert Judy, Peytona, Thomas Judy, Racine, Dickie Judy, Foster, Michael L. Judy, Bloomingrose and Michael B. Judy, Devner, CO; two brothers, William “Bill” Judy, and Howard Judy, Parsons; one sister Josephine Lambert, Reynoldsburg, OH; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was retired from Westmoreland Coal Company, Clothier, in 1973 after serving 34 years as a coal miner.
Funeral services were held Nov. 13, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with Rev. Roger Tinnel officiating. Entombment followed in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
