Harry Carr 1945-2001 Obituary
Harry Thomas Carr, 56, of Thomas, died Sept. 15, at Tucker Community Care, Parsons.
He was born Jan 26, 1945 in Thomas, a son of the late Cecil Carr and Maxine Arbogast who survives in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Also surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Carr, four daughters, Regina Fortney of Elkins, Donna Carr ofFairmont, Rebecca McVicker and Loretta Carr of Thomas; one brother, Joe Carr of Ohio; five sisters, Judy Rembold and Nancy Bealer of MD, Cecella Stauffer and Linda Peterson of North Carolina, Denise Reed of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Carr was employed with Maintenance Department at Canaan Valley State Park. He was a member of Mt. Top Hunting Club and North America Hunt Club. He was a US Veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
Friends were received at the Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, where services were held Sept. 18 with Rev. Jeff Winter officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
