Ruth Vernon Swick, 81, of Petersburg, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va. Friends will be received today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with interment following at the Newhouse Cemetery in Rig. From 21 Jul 2003.
