Gladys E. Swisher 1912-2003 Obituary
Gladys Effie Simmons Swisher went to be with the Lord Monday, March 31, 2003, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Jan. 5, 1912, in Valley Head.
She married Elwood Denver Swisher on Dec. 25, 1938. They moved to the Denver, Col., area in 1956. She was an avid bowler on two leagues.
She is survived by two brothers, Richard “Dick” Simmons and Gene Simmons; a daughter, Kaye Benish; three sons, Frank Swisher, Joe Swisher and Gary Swisher; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
