Leah B. Teter 1903-2003 Obituary
Leah B. Teter, 100, of Rittman, Ohio, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Akron General Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 1903, in Whitmer, the daughter of the late George E. and Mary Alice Mallow Judy.
She was a member of the South Main Street Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Nathan Teter and wife, Linda, of Rittman, Ohio, and Gaylord Teter and wife, Rosemary, of Girard, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Guy (Nancy) Miller of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Pat (Sharon) Files of Niland, Calif., and Mrs. Tommy (Brenda) Van Deman of Lakewood, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Fred Teter, died in 1980. Two great-great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, Ohio where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Wesley Ball will officiate and burial will be in Rittman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Main Street Church of God, 261 S. Main St., Rittman, Ohio, 44270.
