Marvilene M. Cosner 1945-2003 Obituary
Marvilene M. Cosner, 58, of 202 Cambridge Heights, Buckhannon, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 31, 1945, in Lewis County, the daughter of the late Clifford M. Perry and Grace M. Bird Perry.
Surviving are two sons, Franklin Cosner of Fairmont and Christopher Cosner and wife, Carla, of Lexington Park, Md.; five brothers, Derry “Dick” Perry of French Creek, Jim Perry of Asheville, N.C., Kenny Perry of Mount Clare, Roger Perry of Buckhannon and Danny Perry of Buckhannon; four sisters, Anna Lee Bennett of Buckhannon, Sandra Davis of Buckhannon, Karen Sue George of Junior and Carolyn Adams of Huntersville, N.C.; two granddaughters, Kristen Cosner of Lexington Park N.C., and Kylie Cosner of Lexington Park, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Seymour Simons of Buckhannon.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Ellen Cosner.
Mrs. Cosner was a homemaker and was a Christian by faith.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. J. Edward McDaniels will officiate and interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital.
